My AE101 GT Apex Build Thread ***LowLife teaser 23-06-12***

So bought this car a little over 2 weeks ago now, some pics of the condition when I bought it:














So a good base to Start on, NCT til next Feb, good clean engine (needs a new rocker cover gasket to fix an oil leak so will do all seals in the coming month or 2 along with a timing belt kit)

Within a week I had a full front end conversion done with the help of Richard and Steelballz Cheers guys. Also fitted my FrontTRD coilovers with Cusco adjustable mounts. Need to fit the rear ones soon some pics of the swap around:

Now I am trying to sell on the wheels so I can fit 15's I have (pic below) just need to fit new tyres to them is all and they are ready to go. I bought an Exhaust system off Jap Jay in Dublin, I wanted to take the Manifold originally as it was an FGK manifold, but said I would take the system too as Jay gave me a price I could not refuse!! So off I went to get this yesterday and to Shams house for what started with a coffee and ended up being a day fitting the full exhaust big thank you to Richard again and Sham for helping me with the exhaust. On closer inspection of the exhaust it turns out it is a FULL FGK system, only piece missing is the decat so delighted with that. Good to see you going with the factory wheels. I run factory BZ-R wheels on my 101 Levin and must say they do look the part.

Just a heads up with the GT-Z bonnet, be aware of the road dust that comes through onto the Silvertop throttle bodies. I too have a GT-Z bonnet above my Silvertop and am forced to give them a wipe down every now and then.
