| Hey AOC, its been awhile since I've been on here but I'm still alive lol
Just wondering if anyone would know if there is much difference between the power steering rack and the manual rack. I want to replace my current one with a manual rack but I just wanna know if I will need more parts to make it work or will it just be a direct replacement. If anyone knows wassup, I'd appreciate it! _________________ Work in progress

| The rack itself is a bolt in as long as you have the bushings and brackets from the manual rack, the only difference is the steering column intermediate shaft, if you find a manual rack at the junkyard just take everything from the intermediate shat to the tie rods. When I did mine the shaft was already gone so i just welded an extension onto the universal joint where it goes through the firewall. You can also disassemble your power rack, grind off the fluid plunger/piston, cap the lines and essentially have a manual rack without the bad steering ratio, after having both I prefer this method. I plan on doing a write up on this when I get back to the states. _________________ "If in doubt flat out" -Colin McRae

Thanks for the info! It would be super helpful if you had a write up on that! _________________ Work in progress
