| Hey guys, I have a 1995 corolla DX wagon, and I am looking for some suspension upgrades. Can anyone give me suggestions on some good manufacturers for strut tower braces, rear sway bars, and other suspension components? I'm looking for components that will be reliable, but not overly expensive. Thanks in advance for any advice! Escho14 | |

| Speak to MIIB14 he will sort you out he is associated with a company called ultra racing, he will be able to get you a good price. You should introduce yourself in the new members section and post some pics up. _________________ 3SGTE AE101 & OCTAVIA TDI OWNER | |

| Yep, Ultra Racing! But it depends on where you are located, if you are in the states, it would be cheaper to get them from here already.
Strut bar.... get the JDM one from one of our Vendors.
Suspension.... go with coilovers!

Haha unfortunately that's the idea. That's why I am looking to start with relatively cheap upgrades like sway bars/ strut tower braces. Anybody know if I could get these Ultra Racing parts used for cheaper than original retail? P.S. I'm located on the East Coast of the US, so basically as far from JDM parts as possible *sheds single tear*

| Yeah, well I think it would be a lot cheaper getting UR parts from here then, there are many people who've distributed them over the years. I'd think you could get a discount if you bought more than one together, but of course it costs more money up front.
First, what is your goal with all these parts, IE, what do you want to do with the car, what you want to improve?

Well its an auto trans so I figure it wont ever be truly quick. What I want to achieve is making the car more tossable than it is right now. You know, so I can have some fun in the corners. So just more sporty handling I guess. - miib14 wrote:

That would be awesome! Thanks!

So just more sporty handling I guess. I would recommend coilovers first and foremost! Plus larger wheels with good tires. Strut bars are pretty much useless on a street car, though good for the track. Then you can upgrade the sway bars. Or add them if you don't have both.

So if anyone knows someone who's selling 92s for cheap ish, let me know!

| No start with coilovers hahahaha Or at least springs and shocks for half the price! I had springs, shocks, and stock sway bars, and it was great! The strut bar I put under the hood did nothing, but it wasn't a nice OEM one. | |

Ahahah sorry I wasn't ignoring your advice, I was just thinking around my budget... How much would a cheap/reliable set of springs/shocks be? I like the stance that coilovers can give, but I think they are too expensive...
