Bought this a few weeks ago, so haven't done much to it. Put in new rotors and pads and new headlights for a bit more of a modern look, also put in a full JVC sound system. Love the car, main factor for buying it was the 20v blacktop under the hood and its practicality.

Has reasonably low k's on it, so it's in pretty good nick. It's my second 4age, and after rebuilding my first one, i'm quite keen on these motors now.

Ahhhh I wish it was legal to do a Blacktop swap here in California. Sad

She looks beautiful man. Any future plans?

Oh and welcome to AE101owners!

Cheers guys, yep, great motors, amazing what they can pull from a 1.6. Has about the same fuel consumption as my old '04 Pulsar 1.6 with soo much more power. In terms of future plans, maybe some nice 16" mags, cold air intake, no major plans as of yet Smile

These cars seem to be sleeper like, in the fact that not many people know what engines they have in them (with the exception of enthusiasts), which makes racing at the lights quite interesting (but not when it's wet, cause damn, it has NO traction in the wet :p). Thinking of an exhaust now, maybe a full performance system from the stock extractors. Maybe a 2" with removed catalytic converter? any ideas? Cheers.

I would go for the 2- 1/2" all the way through with removed cat, but you will need to but another box in it's place or it will be really raspy

Hey guys, just an update. Have done a wee bit of work since I last was on here. Have new rear shock absorbers now after realising mine were shot. Apparently they can wear out at 100,000 kms. Painted the calipers red (for the extra 5kW) and fitted second-hand (but mint) Advanti Lenso 17's. Had to roll the guards for the rims to fit but totally worth it. Here's some pics..Cheers.

My newish 17" mags

Right-hand shock couldn't even support it's own weight

Only use the best :p

will removing the cat on these mess up the fuel management system since they have an O2 sensor b4 and after the cat
just asking?
On another forum I asked this question because I was replacing both O2 sensors and thought of removing the cat or rodding it out and I got blasted for asking
blasted about laws, not making modifications....etc
